Sezmi. One TV service, all platforms.
As Sezmi introduced their services in the constantly changing electronic content delivery arena they hoped to combine all services and preference setting in one device, also called Sezmi. Customers could finally have just one device, set a variety of viewing and recommendations preferences, pay a single monthly fee and have a unified experience for over air channels, web and on-demand videos, internet and cable content.
With a complex service the Sezmi team was looking for a partner to redesign and streamline the entire user experience of their e-content delivery device and service. The objective was to simplify and clarify the interaction and present easy to use options via user preferences, as well as expand the delivery platforms from TV to mobile and online.
TNC started from scratch, driving an overhaul of the Sezmi experience. We initiated an in-depth research phase to set up understand user needs, use patters and how the system would work under the different platforms and types of content. Interviews with both the in-house leadership team, as well as end users were conducted. Objectives identified during the initial phase were translated into feature sets that supported usability and profitability. As a first step, we developed a Vision piece demonstrating how the initial TV only experience could be translated to mobile and online platforms.
